Sri Lanka, November to December 2019At least 3 people died after heavy rain triggered a landslide in Walapane, Central Province, Sri Lanka on 30 November 2019. Flooding affected areas of Northern and Eastern Provinces, where around 600 people were displaced. Note: The government report of 03 December stated that 5 people died. Sri Lanka's Disaster Management Situation report of 03 December stated that 3 people died in the Walapane landslide.
