Thailand - Floods (ECHO 20 May 2022)

From 15 to 18 May, floods were reported across northern Thailand, specifically in the provinces of Phrae, Lampang, Nan, Uttaradit, Phayao and Nakhon Ratchasima.
According to the ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet), almost 300 households have been affected in total. A number of road sections, bridges and houses sustained damage due to floodwaters.
Heavy rainfall was also reported in Bangkok Capital City, as up to 125.8 mm of rain was recorded in 24 hours on 17 May at the Bang Na weather station.
On 20-21 May, moderate to locally heavy rainfall with strong winds are forecast over most of Thailand.
