Crimea and Krasnodar Krai, Russia, Late June 2022Ministry of Emergency Situations Krasnodar Krai, Russia, reported 2 vehicles were swept away by flash floods Sochi after heavy rain in surrounding mountainous areas on 24 June 2022. Two people were rescued, 2 bodies were recovered and 4 people remained missing, as of late 24 June. The government of Sochi reported 14 settlements Lazarevsky district saw flooding and a total of 98 houses damaged. Areas of Zubova Shchel were hardest hit. Local government said 85 mm of rain fell in a short period. Heavy rain affected parts of Crimea on 25 June. Media, quoting EMERCOM, reported 52 buildings flooded in 6 settlements in Simferopol's'kyi district, with around 120 people evacuated.Mon 27 Jun 2022FloodList provided by Copernicus GloFAS
