Northern Colombia, Late June 2022Civil Defence in Colombia reported flooding and landslides in northern departments in late June 2022. Floods in El Retén, Magdalena affected 45 people from 26 June. Media said the heavy rain was caused by the passage the potential cyclone passing across the Caribbean (potential Hurricane Bonnie). On 29 June landslides struck in Arboledas, Norte de Santander, where 4 people lost their lives.
